Thais Pupio is a brazilian architect and interior designer with a career spanning over 20 years across Brazil and Australia.

​

Her passion for natural building and the impact of architecture on people and on the planet,  drives her to create designs that engage the senses and foster harmony between the earth and its inhabitants.

​

Thais emphasizes the use of local, natural, and recycled materials to craft environmentally conscientious and aesthetically pleasing spaces. With extensive experience in residential projects, she expertly guides them from concept to construction.

​

One of her notable achievements is The Earthen Retreat house in Byron Bay, which has garnered multiple awards and been featured in The Local Project and Habitus Living.

​

In her projects she is committed to deliver authentic,well crafted, sustainable and innovative spaces, considering the total impact of each material through every step of its life and how the spaces will be experienced throughout the seasons.​

*Thais earned her Bachelor of Architecture and Urban Planning in Brazil in 2004 and a Diploma in Building Design in Australia in 2012 (not Registered as an Architect in Australia).
